SEO audits that rank the fixes for you

A content team paid for six SEO tools but still could not tell which pages to fix first. We replaced them with one system that audits the site nightly, ranks pages by their own search data and drafts the fixes for editors to approve.

The system ranks the work. Editors decide what ships.

We scored every page against its own search data, so the team stopped debating priorities and started fixing pages.

The result

Editors start the day with
a ranked list of fixes.

The problem

Six tools, and still nobody knew which page to fix.

Rankings were slipping, but each audit took a week to put together by hand. By the time the content team read it, the data was out of date, and the six tools they paid for never agreed on which pages mattered.

  • Stale audits

A week of manual crawling meant the report was out of date before anyone read it.

  • No way to prioritise

Long lists of findings, with nothing to say which fixes would actually move rankings.

  • Data in six places

Search data, crawl results and page scores lived in separate tools that disagreed.

  • Editors doing research

Writers spent their week deciding what to write instead of writing.

Search operations

A crawler that scores each page, drafts the fix, and queues it by priority.

Every night the system crawls the site, joins the results to Search Console data, and scores each URL. For pages that need work it drafts a rewrite and adds it to the editors’ queue, highest priority first. Editors review and approve; nothing publishes on its own.

How it works

Engineering decisions

Search Console impressions and positions, the on-page crawl, and internal link depth, joined per URL in BigQuery. Scoring each page against its own search data is what lets the list reflect real opportunity instead of a generic checklist.

AI drafts save research time, but they still need an editor’s judgement. The system drafts and queues; publishing stays an editor action, with the change shown before approval.

Through the CMS API. The queue itself does not depend on a particular CMS, so the same setup works with headless and traditional sites.
